It’s pretty special when you get a beautiful hand written thank you card and a homemade chocolate cake for just doing your job!
I want to say a big thank you to all the breastfeeding families I have seen over the years for making my job so special. I feel very privileged to be able to share this special time in people’s lives.
Having a new baby
A new baby brings meaning to life. It makes us take the focus off our own needs, it opens our hearts so we begin to look at the world with kinder eyes. It makes us want a better world for our kids.
However in the first few weeks the happiest event of a parent’s life is difficult. Many new parents are frightened by the responsibility, daunted by the caring for the new baby and overwhelmed by the newness of it all.
