Working in the Kimberley
We are in Kununurra now. I have a couple of days orientation in town before I catch the flying doctor plane on Wednesday to the Warmun community. This will be the first visit to one of the 2 communities where I am the Maternal and Child Health nurse for the next 6 months.
The country is so beautiful here. The colours are so vivid and contrasting, the vegetation so different from the rest of Australia and the hills and rock formations are beautiful.
I loved this family group of boab trees we saw on a drive we took out to the Ord River irrigation farms.
